Apart from our organisational activities stated above in ‘Aims and Objects’, this Association – APPS is involved in so many social activities also ...

• • This Association has started its journey in the year of 1993 by donating a sum of Rs. 30,000/- in chief Minister’s Relief Fund on 14th September 1993 for Flood-victims of North Bengal by organising a Musical Programme on 29th August 1993 at Nazrul Manch, Kolkata, where more than 90 famous singers participated and performed.
• • Donated a lump sum amount (Rs. 1,25,000/-) in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on 21-01-2008 and 08-06-2009 for the victims of ‘TSUNAMI’ (Rs.50,000/-) and ‘AAYLA’ (Rs. 75,000/-).
• • Donated Chief Minister’s Relief Fuind a lump sum amount for the victims of ‘Kargil War’ and ‘Orrisa Super Cyclone and Flood’.
• • Organised so many Blood Donation Camps.
• • Association has got its own Ambulance, which was inaugurated by eminent Legend singer Geetasree Sandhya Mukhopadhyay, by which render service free of cost to the singer-members and their relatives and also to other singers who are not the members of this Association in case of their need.
• • Association always donate need-based amount to the members for their Medical Treatment at the same time give financial support to the distressed singers and musicians throughout the year.
